Computed tomography (CT) is often used to evaluate diseases, and the quality of a CT image is affected by the image quality of the primary CT data. We proposed a method to correct the non-uniformity of a primary CT image, and investigated the effects of this on the interpolation of undersampled CT data. In this paper, we propose a correction method to reduce the non-uniformity of a primary CT image, and demonstrate the ability of this method to remove the non-uniformity of a primary CT image. This corrected image is then used for the interpolation of undersampled CT data. We conducted experiments to evaluate the image quality of reconstructed images, and compared them with the original primary CT images. The results showed that the proposed method can reduce the non-uniformity of a primary CT image, and can be used for undersampled CT interpolation, and the image quality is similar to the original primary CT images.Q:
